Compete individually or in teams of 2–4, use AI to ship, but show thoughtful design judgment and user listening; judges include an exited health-tech founder, indie game developer, and founding engineer at an applied AI company. Winners receive prizes including a free indie game copy, plus all participants get a visa waiver from Ellis (H1B, TN, H1B1, E3 eligible), with support from Build and Veris AI as sponsors.","access":{"free":null,"application_required":null},"audience_roles":["technical_builders","general"],"audience_orientation":"mixed","company_stage":null,"interaction":["workshop"],"topics":["ai"],"modality":"in_person","meal_context":"none","series":null,"mentions":[{"text":"Build","kind":"organization","subtype":null,"role":"host"},{"text":"Ellis","kind":"organization","subtype":null,"role":"host"},{"text":"Veris AI","kind":"organization","subtype":null,"role":"host"},{"text":"NYC","kind":"place","subtype":null,"role":"mentioned"},{"text":"Anti-Slopathon","kind":"program","subtype":null,"role":"organizer"},{"text":"Build","kind":"organization","subtype":null,"role":"sponsor"},{"text":"Ellis","kind":"organization","subtype":"company","role":"sponsor"},{"text":"Veris AI","kind":"organization","subtype":"company","role":"sponsor"}],"sources":[{"id":"nextnyc","class":"newsletter","publisher":"nextNYC","first_observed_at":"2026-03-16T11:46:01.0000000Z","last_observed_at":"2026-03-16T11:46:01.0000000Z"},{"id":"nycb2b","class":"newsletter","publisher":"NYC B2B","first_observed_at":"2026-03-10T14:32:42.0000000Z","last_observed_at":"2026-03-17T13:02:30.0000000Z"}],"discovery":{"first_party":[],"newsletter":["nextnyc","nycb2b"],"provider":null},"basis":{"audience_roles":{"technical_builders":"observed","general":"inferred"},"topics":{"ai":"observed"},"audience_orientation":"inferred","company_stage":null,"interaction":"observed","modality":"default"},"canonical_url":null,"first_seen":"2026-03-10T14:32:42.0000000Z","last_seen":"2026-03-17T13:02:30.0000000Z","observation_count":3}
